Current Adult Classes
Over the Coffee Cups is an informal discussion group that meets in the library. This class follows the topics provided by “Wired Word” which connect scripture to current events. To be added to the email list and recieved the weekly readings, please contact the church office through email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Other Adult Class meets in the new meeting room and discusses a variety of topics using a more formal curriculum.
Currently, the Other Adult Class is studying “Follow in the Footsteps of St. Peter” with David Suchet and learning about the facts and traditions surrounding this man Peter- disciple, apostle, example of great faith, imperfect human being. This class will span several weeks and is open to all ages.
***Nursery service is available to any parents with children under age 4 who would like to attend the adult classes.
Worship Workshop: During the worship service, following the children’s message, children who are in preschool through fourth grade are invited to participate in Worship Workshop. Worship Workshop is a 20-25 minute class that incorporates the scriptures, messages, and themes from the morning’s service presented in a child-friendly manner. Activities include stories, crafts, games, and music. Children are escorted to and from the class which is held in the education wing.
Nursery: FPC has two nursery workers on staff, as well as volunteers from the congregation, who provide care for children ages 0-3. The nursery is located just outside the sanctuary.
